Building Goodwill Campaign

Goodwill Industries of the Valleys has a tradition rooted in the work centers that serve people with physical and mental challenges.  The Goodwill Jobs Campus takes the Goodwill programs to another level of service.  Complementing the existing work center on Melrose Avenue will be a comprehensive jobs training facility that will help create a larger, stronger workforce while at the same time serving people with significant employment disadvantages.

Rendering of Goodwill Jobs Campus- Good for People . . . Good for Families . . . Good for the Community
The 10-acre Jobs Campus will:

  • Include 100,000 square feet of training, meeting, office, and rehabilitation areas
  • Contain an 8,000 square foot free standing retail store that will be open to the public while at the same time training individuals interested in a retail career
  • Offer a community room that can be scheduled for use by the many neighborhood groups that surround the campus

We invite and encourage you to learn more about Goodwill Industries of the Valleys and let others know they too can become involved in this major community project.

  • The campaign goal is $1 million. At the end of 2008 nearly half was raised.
  • We ask that businesses, individuals, and civic groups join with us to make this project a shining example of Building a Better Community.
  • Naming opportunities are still available.  Both the Jobs Campus and the retail training store are available for personal or corporate recognition.  Other opportunities include classroom space, training facilities, meeting rooms, and other external structures.
  • Pledges may be spread over a two - five year period of time.
