Job Development Center
Job development centers are helpful to potential workers and employers because they provide access to workforce, employment, and training services in one centralized location. The centers can assist workers who have been laid-off, provide employment services to adult and youth, connect potential workers for proper job training programs, and connect a disadvantaged worker to a job. Work readiness skills programs provide training to persons with disadvantaging conditions that might otherwise preclude them from employment.
Even persons who are challenged to use a computer or do not understand the value of the internet in the job search can walk into this center and get the guidance needed to become competitive in the work place.
