What's Happening

As work progresses on the new Goodwill Jobs Campus located on Roanoke's Melrose Avenue, What's Happening will be updated frequently. The current project time line is:

• Summer 2008 - 27th Goodwill retail store opens on the Jobs Campus property. It is the first Goodwill store to act as an on site training facility for individuals interested in a retail career.
• Fall 2008 - Remodel of main Jobs Campus facility begins.  Upon completion this facility will house a new Job Development Center, Corporate Offices, centralized operations for Goodwill's Central Division, and an expanded Work Center which will also house Goodwill's ADLS day support program.
• Winter 2009 - Job Development Center opens and construction begins on Corporate Offices.
• Summer 2009 - Corporate Office Opens
• Fall 2009 - Roanoke Facility operations centralized in new location and work begins on new day programs facility and landscaping.
• Winter 2010 - Grand Opening of new Goodwill Jobs Campus.
